50/50 Raffle - Spring 2022

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #132227

    7 for $10.00; 770 tickets
    40 for $25.00; 6000 tickets
    100 for $50.00; 15000 tickets
    250 for $75.00; 25500 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $10,000.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: May 28, 2022 at 12:00:00 a.m. PDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: May 28, 2022 at 2:00:00 p.m. PDT

    Draw will be held at TBA

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://cwrugby.rafflenexus.com/winners on May 28, 2022.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Castaway Wanderers Rugby Football Club.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Castaway Wanderers Rugby Football Club or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Castaway Wanderers Rugby Football Club does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

Cause

Pride of our program has CW looking towards the future, building on our history, continuing to improve and maintain our status as one of the top rugby clubs in British Columbia and Canada. To us it is about more than just eighty minutes on the pitch. The CW Rugby program accentuates the whole rugby experience. We are a club with a foundation based on respect and honour for the game of rugby and the manner in which the game is played. We are committed to the healthy development of all our players and the people who contribute their time freely because of their love of the game and for our Club.

The CW program today involves 400 players, starting at five years of age. Funds raised through this 50/50 raffle will go towards supporting all levels of the CW rugby community – Minis, Juniors & Seniors.
